We are a family friendly range and encourage participation by the entire family.
Participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by parent, or legal guardian age 21 or older. Written permission is required if the minor is not accompanied by a relative. Please call ahead to verify.

Membership in FWIR will be available only to persons who are legally able to possess a firearm. FWIR Members must be in compliance with all federal, state and local laws concerning ownership and the handling of firearms. Membership will be granted,and may be revoked, at the sole discretion of FWIR.
I certify as follows: (1)that I am not and have never been the subject of a criminal or any other proceeding that prevents me from legally owning, handling or possessing firearms under Washington or Federal law; (2) that I can lawfully own, handle and possess a firearm; and, (3) that all information given in this Application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I have read, understand and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions attached to this Application as well as the Waiver of Liability, Release of Claims and Agreement to Hold Harmless,Defend and Indemnify and the FWIR Rules.

_____8. Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times on the range, even when you are not shooting.
_____9. All rental guns entering or leaving range area must be cased, unloaded with actions open, and magazine removed.
____ 10. Case and uncase the gun only in your booth. Never case or uncase any gun anywhere else. Personal firearms must be cased or holstered when behind the red line.
____ 11. Gun muzzles will be pointed downrange at all times and never higher than the target. Guns must be cased before removing from the shooting stall. If you wish to share guns, move the shooter, not the guns.
____ 12. Un-aimed and uncontrolled fire is strictly prohibited. This includes intentional or unintentional fire at non-target objects. Any shot striking an overhead baffle will result in a $10.00 fine. You must report strikes to baffle, target rails or target carriers– or risk losing range privileges. There will be a $300.00 charge if the target track is shot or damaged, a $400.00 charge if a target carrier is shot or damaged
____13. Rifle or Handgun ammunition up to 2000 ft per second max velocity. No center-fire rifle ammunition over 2000 ft per second allowed unless you are an Emerald or Diamond Member OR pay an additional $10.00. (22 caliber Rim-Fire ammunition IS permitted)
____14. NO AMMUNITION WITH STEEL/ALUMINUM CASINGS, STEEL TIP,ARMOR PIERCING OR TRACER ROUNDS OF ANY TYPE ARE ALLOWED ON THE RANGE. Remanufactured Ammunition may be used at customers own risk, and ONLY in the customers’ personal firearm.
____15. When using a rental gun, range ammo from FWIR must be purchased that day.
____16. Only one person may fire from the shooting stall at a time. You may share the lane, but must take turns shooting.
____17. Never cross the firing line. Brass that goes forward of the line is ours, no exceptions. All brass is the property of the range unless you specify that you are collecting your own brass in advance. You can only pick up your own brass.
EXCEPTION: Event brass is the property of the range.
____18. No food or beverages allowed on the range.
____19. When entering and exiting the Range- PLEASE CLOSE THE FIRST DOOR BEFORE OPENING THE SECOND. This keeps range noise out of the lobby.
____20. Observe range employee, (RSO’s), instructions without hesitation, they have TOTAL AUTHORITY regarding range Operation and policies. They are here to ensure your safety, make your shooting experience a pleasant one, and answer any questions you may have.
____21. FWIR has a basic policy that is the cornerstone of our safety guarantee to you and your family. No customer is allowed to handle a firearm, except when they are on the range and at their assigned shooting position.
____22. It is the responsibility of all shooters as well as employees to maintain a safe environment. If you see something that needs attention, please tell a Range Safety Officer immediately.
____23. All shooters will obey the rules of firearms safety. Treat all guns as if they are loaded. Never point a gun at anything you do not want to shoot. Always point the gun down range. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on your target and you are ready to shoot. Know your target and the backstop beyond.
____24. NO children under 12 are allowed on the Range. Kids 12 – 16 shoot for free. All minors must be accompanied by an adult with a ratio of 1:1 (1 minor per adult)
____25. Drawing from a holster is not allowed without written proof of qualifications and permission from the RSO.
____26. FEMALES ONLY: If you are pregnant, please consult your physician for their recommendations on being around gunfire. We at Federal Way Indoor Range DO NOT recommend shooting if you are pregnant.
____27. I will not provide services in exchange for money or distribute information, either verbally, pamphlets, business cards or other printed materials, regarding other businesses or training to any person or persons on the premises of Federal Way Discount Guns and Indoor Range. This may result in removal from the facility and/or revocation of membership.

I I agree that I will assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses, or damages which occur to me, and/or my family, and my guests, while on the premises of FWIR, and to the maximum extent allowed by law I agree to release,indemnify, and hold harmless FWIR or any employee from any liability whatsoever for injuries, losses or damages. I agree that I will indemnify and hold harmless, to the maximum extent allowed by law, from costs (including legal fees) injuries, damages, losses, or liability to third parties for claims or other shooters, while on the FWIR premises.
